Page 800

I have reached a milestone in my life.

Today, I have reached page 800 in War and Peace. In fact, I have blown past said page and I am currently halfway to page 900.

This actually makes me a little sad. I do love this book and I am getting closer and closer to the end everyday. I am wondering if perhaps I shouldn’t finish it. You see, if I don’t finish I will always live in that imperfect world with Pierre and Natasha, the Rostov’s and Bolkonsky’s, General Kutuzov and Napoleon. I will probably finish though. Much like how a dog eats all its food at once instead of saving some for later, I will finish the book out of sheer starvation for more. Once I am finished, however, I will have to find something else to read. It’s like a vicious cycle.

Besides War and Peace, there is nothing new in Athens. I took my Art History Midterm today. It seemed really easy which automatically makes me paranoid about how I did. Oh well.

There is nothing much more to put in here. I am feeling very uncreative and uninspired lately. Perhaps it is because I am Irish.
