The adventures of Shaun — a man revered as a god in some ancient cultures.
Today is Monday.
Man, I don’t feel very well today — which is interesting because I didn’t feel well last weekend either. I think I got a bug from somebody on Friday. These sort of things happen, I guess.
Speaking of Friday when I got my bug, it was pretty fun.
Now is the part where I tell everyone about my weekend. So, gather ’round the fire, campers…
Friday:
Well, actually not Friday. Screw Friday. I’m starting on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I wrote a 5-page paper in under 2 hours. I’m pretty proud of that feat. I started writing at 11:15 or so and finished at 12:54. I scrambled around my room and searched for a stapler while my paper was printing (the class in which it was due was @ 1:00, naturally), but I couldn’t find one. So, I gathered my papers together and walked very briskly uphill to Bentley (where my class was). I made a slight change in destination by going to the Bentley Annex first. There are a bunch of offices on the first floor, and in my experience, offices typically contain at least one stapler, usually multiple staplers. I looked for the first door that was open. Since, there was no one in there, I grabbed a stapler from the desk, stapled my paper and headed to the building next door where my class was. I rushed in the door and handed in my paper. No word on what the grade was yet.
For those of you thoroughly confused, here is a map of what I’m talking about. Bentley Annex is 139 and Bentley is 16.
Thursday — who cares about it?
Now, to Friday where I was orignally supposed to start. On Friday, I went home because later that night there was Alumni Band at my old high school. Alumni Band is where I go play my trumpet (Yeah! I can play trumpet! Sort of…) and march with the High School Band at the football game. It sounds really boring, but it’s actually a lot of fun usually. Unfortunately, this time was not as fun as others. Here’s one big reason: very few of my friends were there.
Another big reason is that I didn’t really feel like playing the songs we were playing. We play the same songs every year, and there are only so many times a man can play “My Heart Will Go On”.
Note: “My Heart Will Go On” is old UNLESS you are like the Mexican and I. We developed a new version of it that is sure to live on throughout the ages. We call it, “My Heart Will Go Polka” In order to visualize it, you have to picture Celine Dion and — actually nevermind, picturing Celine Dion is too much for any human being.
Also, the cheers I usually play during 4th quarter are old. I’ve heard them 15,000 times and I need some new ones. Next year, I’m gonna come prepared with a few new things to play. So, to sum that up, the actual playing was boring and sucked pretty bad.
There was one REALLY good thing about Friday. I got to talk to my ex-girlfriend Michelle! I haven’t actually had a conversation with her for about 2 years, so it was EXTREMELY nice to speak to her. I have an agenda now — I am going to start spending more time with Michelle when I’m home. I always had a lot of fun with her whilst we were dating, and I think it would be nice to be friends again.
That was Friday.
Saturday:
On this most wonderful day of days I had to work. That wasn’t bad though. I actually kept myself pretty busy throughout the day. I didn’t really have time to do any website work because I was busy organizing files and helping one of the ladies there unload films from her car, but I’m not too concerned. After that, Angie, Beth and I did stuff. It took us a while to figure out what stuff to do, but eventually we did stuff. I will admit, the stuff we did wasn’t all that great, but it was fun to hang out with them.
What was the stuff, you ask?
Well, Angie and I ate KFC. Also, I discovered KFC has the most foul parfait I have ever tasted, Fudge Brownie — don’t ever buy it unless you need your large intestine flushed out. Then, we met up with Bethiepoo and went to Perks, the coffee place. (Note: I think we did something between this, but I honestly don’t remember).
At Perks, Angiepoo and Bethiepoo played a really stupid gamiepoo while I just kind of listened… iepoo. From there, we went somewhere else, (once again, don’t remember) and then I think we went and saw Zoolander at the Athena.
OH! Good story about that!
The Athena is pretty infamous in regards to their technical expertise in using the movie projector. Saturday was no different. After they had so many problems with one of them, an employee moved us into another vacant theater because the projector in the room where we were was dead. So, we moved in there and watched the movie.
Man, that wasn’t a good story at all. In fact, it was actually quite horrible.
Sunday:
I had a Biology midterm this morning (Monday) that I should have been studying for on Sunday. I didn’t though. I just watched tv and rollerbladed. I think there was soup somewhere in there. Oh — I also fenced. That’s pretty much a given though.
So, that was my weekend. There are a few notes I need to add. Lauriepoo mentioned (complained) a while ago that I didn’t talk about her Drunk Dial? at about 11 pm last weekend. So, I feel I should note that. By the way, who is already trashed enough to do a Drunk Dial? at 11 pm? Laura, I think you have a problem.
Also, in the spirit of extra notes, Maria got me some books about military stuff! Go Maria, go! Yeah! It’s your berfday, it’s your berfday! Gonna party, gonna party!
That was a bit much, I think. Sorry.
That’s all, I believe…
