Well, I just finished my History exam and it was fantastic. By “fantastic” I mean “hell.”

Actually, it wasn’t as bad as I originally thought it was going to be. However, I didn’t end up studying like I wanted to, so it was pretty rough. The IDs were the part that probably killed me. My essay, which was supposed to be the hardest part, was relatively easy. We had the option of bringing in an outline for one of the essays, but I didn’t do that. I winged this one, as I wing a lot of my essays. Luckily, being a history major has given me a lot of experience in writing, writing and more writing. So, I am confident I did well even though I was the second to last person to leave.

Once again, I’m longwinded.

So far, today has not been that bad. My godforsaken alarm clock did NOT go off at 7:30 this morning though, and as a result, I didn’t wake up in time for work. In fact, I just didn’t go to work. I called my boss and asked him if I could just come in tomorrow afternoon for four hours (I will be bored in my room anyway because practically everyone is leaving on today or tomorrow) and he said that would be OK. I think they needed someone anyway. He even offered to save me a few of the brownies he brought in to the office this afternoon. Naturally, I said it was a good idea.

George really is the best boss a person could ever want.

My plans for tonight are as follows: laundry. I have no undershirts or underwear left to wear, and I’m out of towels and pants. Basically, all I have left are shirts; they are the sucky shirts I never wear though. You know the ones I’m talking about–there a bit too small, maybe irregularly shaped and smell like cedar because they are always locked away in a drawer. These fabrics are all that prevent myself from utter nudity. So, laundry is a necessity tonight.

Other than washing my clothes, I have nothing else planned. For anyone still in the beautiful Athens, OH–where the towels are oh so fluffy–if you’re not doing anything tonight, give me a call. I’ll probably be 1) hungry and 2) bored.

Until later…
