The adventures of Shaun — a man revered as a god in some ancient cultures.
It’s very late Tuesday night.
Well, classes back at the ole Sinclair have been… “interesting” (to say the least). I truly must have been high when I scheduled my classes because I was downtown for 10 hours today. What in the bloody hell was I thinking? Luckily, the majority of those hours were in classes that I found at least somewhat interesting. The most interesting one is my photography class (I finally bit the bullet and decided to take one) on Tuesday. After that would probably be my film class. The only problem with my film class is that the professor seems very sad and pathetic (quite common among film classes, actually, but still…); he likes to spend a lot of time talking less and less about the subject and more about how great he is. Kind of ironic if you think about it because his reputation is what I would call “pumped up.” Still, he is OK in my book because he doesn’t believe in tests or quizzes.
The next best class would be my Russian class. It’s kind of what I would call “extremely easy.” You see, I wanted to take a Russian class because I didn’t want to forget what I learned, but the only thing offered was Basic Russian. “Basic” means it’s made up of things I’ve learned already like, for example, the cyrillic alphabet (our first lesson today). I like it because it should require minimal work on my part.
The worst class of all is the class I expected to be the best: my acting class. That’s right—I’m taking an acting class. I really wish I wasn’t though. Everyone is nice and all that stuff, but the professor is taking it much too seriously for the type of class I was it would be. I have to keep a journal, apparently, about how I feel in regards to the different things we do in class. Once again, no tests or quizzes (which I would rather have instead of a crappy journal like that).
Note: This journal is NOT going to turn into my acting journal. In fact, because we don’t even have to show the prof our journals, mine will be non-existent. All the summaries of stuff I’ve written will be pure, 100%, Grade A Shaun Lewis B.S.—a specialty of mine.
Photography is definitely the class made for me. First of all, it’s photography. Add onto that the fact that there are no due dates except the final one and that is something tailor-made for me. The only caveat: lots of money to buy the developing equipment. There’s always something, I guess.
That’s all for now though. I really need to get to bed. I’ve been staying up too late watching my TV shows (the very few I watch).
