The adventures of Shaun — a man revered as a god in some ancient cultures.
So, it’s Wednesday. Apparently, I skipped Tuesday.
Well, it’s been an interesting few days after a certain incident, which occured on Monday, that I would like to never mention again for the rest of my life. The stench was gone immediately following that second shower, but that hasn’t stopped some of my so-called “friends” from suggesting that it might still linger. Yeah—thanks, guys. I think I’m going to try to let this episode die out so I can discuss something else; really, I’m not sure what else to talk about, but I’ll think of something.
Tuesday was a pretty decent day. Actually, the day part of the day was pretty boring (I skipped photography class yet again), but the night part was interesting. Well, kind of interesting. I would give it a 7 on the interesting scale. You know, not quite a 10, but definitely not an average night. The players in this semi-fantastic night were, as always, Jason and Jacki! Apparently, I have only two friends in the whole entire world. Luckily, these friends don’t suck because otherwise I think I would lead a very miserable life. Perhaps I might even roam the countryside, scavenging for food and a place in society.
Probably not, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Anyway, I went over to Jacki’s after I got out of Russian—oh, yeah. I want to gloat a bit because I so rarely have the opportunity. I went to Russian because I was pretty bored. I’m glad I did though because we got our 2nd test back and, I’m proud to say, I was the high-score again. (As Laura McMurray would say, “EEEEEEEEEE!”).
Back on topic though: I went over to Jacki’s at about 7:30. She had called while I was in class and asked me to come over and fix her MP3 player because FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON, it has been acting a little strange. Now, she doesn’t know for certain why, but I’m going to go ahead and guess it’s because she let it swim in an entire bottle of soda for a few hours and at one point, it was dropped in a toilet. That’s just a stab in the dark though—don’t know for certain, of course. So, I went over to her house because I know if I fix the player, I might be able to guilt her into buying me something (e.g., a pony). Jason came over at about 8, right when American Idol was starting, in fact.
Aside: Speaking of American Idol, I had never watched this show until I went over to Jacki’s. The first episode I saw last week. I have to say, I am surprised at how much better it was than what I thought it would be. My expectations were pretty low, and that may be the reason why I’m slightly impressed.
I finished fixing the MP3 player at about 9 or so. Really, I don’t know what I did to fix it and it’s not really essential to this plot, so moving along. Jason went home and went to bed because he had to get up early; Jacki and I left for Barnes and Noble. We arrived in book heaven shortly after leaving and I read some books on wedding photography; Jacki wandered about the store aimlessly, as far as I know. Eventually, we left and I took Jacki to work. That’s when he hit a temporary snag because we got to her workplace much too soon. We fixed this by driving around for a bit. I decided I wanted Taco Bell, and after trying to find it, we found it, but both decided we were no longer in the mood for Taco Bell, so we left. After I dropped her off, I came home and watched Adult Swim.
That was my exciting, but not exciting, day. Hopefully, whatever I do tonight will rock.
Fine, you bastige. I didn’t wanna be your friend, anyway.
Perhaps I should rephrase: friends with whom I do stuff.
