Well, it’s like Wednesday or something.

It’s been a while since I posted and there is an excellent reason for this: I was sick. In fact, I threw up on more than one occasion. I meant to post a wonderful entry on Monday about my weekend (I wasn’t sick during the weekend), but my health, nor state of mind, would permit me. I am, however, feeling 100% better today (the first day I have felt completely fine). I think a big part of my illness was when I stayed up without sleep for 2 nights. I’ve heard that sort of stresses your immune system; looks like I’m walking proof of that theory.

Now, the summary…

Friday

Interestingly enough, I don’t remember Friday at all.

Saturday

Ah, yes. Saturday. Not too much happened there either. Jason and Jacki were going to do stuff and I didn’t really feel like it. So, Jacki “employed her feminine wiles” (as Jason says) to make me come. Really, it wasn’t too difficult.

When we set out, we headed for the pottery place to pick up our customized pig. The pig that we had painted. More information about the pig can be found here. I promised some picture of the pig when it was finished, and I will certainly not fail to deliver. So, here is the pig:

It is truly the world’s most wonderful animal.

After we picked up the pig, we didn’t do too much more.I think we wandered around until we had to take Jacki to work and then came home. It was exciting.

On Sunday, Jacki and I hung out at her house and I started not to feel very well. Then, I got sick. That’s pretty much the story from here on. So, instead of discussing the details of how I spent my day or two in bed, I will just end this entry right now.

Until later…

Poor Shaun! Glad you’re feeling better now, though. Maybe now you’ll learn the evils of all-nighters…

I like the pig, especially the sideburns. However, it is hard to see the yellow racing stripes on the pig’s nose. Perhaps the most eclectic, color-challenged porker I have ever met — and that’s saying something…
