Shaun Lewis: the Man, the Myth, the Legend

This is a quick little entry about something you should expect to see at this journal. Also, you should probably click the “Continue Reading…” link at the bottom of this paragraphy because I don’t want to take up a lot of room on the front page.

OK. You’ve clicked the link. Good. (Ignore all of that if there was no link.) So, new feature time for this little journal. I opened up an account with a little web site known as “Flickr.” Flickr stores photos online and they have a WONDERFUL feature where you can upoload pictures by email. I have a cameraphone capable of sending emails. That means I can update my journal with pictures from my phone.

So, as you can see, there will be a slight change in the type of content offered at this journal. Not only will there be my horribly long-winded entries that end up saying very little (like this one?), but there will now also be some really short ones consisting of only visual content with maybe a little bit of context. The only problem is all my picture phone entries will have the title “A Picture Share!” That’s kind of… gay.

Everything can’t be perfect, I guess.

One more final thing. Podcasting hit the mainstream earlier this week. iTunes 4.9 now offers the ability to subscribe to various feeds and that sort of stuff. Right now I’m pretty excited about all the possibilities that are opened up with this, but I might not be in the very near future. The novelty will wear off quickly, I imagine.

Still, if it doesn’t within a few weeks, start looking out for my very own Podcasts. Enough of me being a pretentious trendy nerd though.
