It’s Sunday.

I am currently sitting in the living room of Betsy, Angie and Crystal. Angie is not here because, in addition to other reasons, she sucks. Actually, she’s at a wedding. Still, that’s no excuse. Betsy and Crystal are here though. Betsy is typing away on her laptop she bought from her brother while I type away on the laptop I got from my sister. Crystal is around, most likely studying in her room while marveling at her new curtains I helped put up.

That’s right. I’m a handyman!

Really though, I did help put up curtains. I don’t know why I would lie about such a thing, but you never know, you know? They are wonderful to look at. Although, one shouldn’t look at them with too scrutinous an eye or you might notice they are crooked and one nail used to hold them is bent at a 90 degree angle. Still, very pretty.

Enough about curtains though.

Last night, I somehow talked Betsy, Matt (Betsy’s fiancee — she’s growing up so quickly), and Beth into letting me pick out the movie of the night. Truthfully, I wanted to go see Corpse Bride in the theaters again, but no one seemed receptive to the idea of going out. That’s why we were left picking a movie to watch at home. Surprisingly, I did a fantastic job with my selection. The movie was called The Hudsucker Proxy. Perhaps you’ve heard of it?

Betsy seemed to really like it. Matt seemed indifferent about it, but that’s fine. Beth thought it was, and I quote, “OK.” That’s good though coming from Beth.

Aside: I think she really liked it, but just didn’t want to admit it because that would’ve meant I did something good. Beth is actually not a hard girl to please. I just have to make myself look bad. She seems to enjoy that. Honestly, who doesn’t though?

Yeah, though. Movie was good. After that, Matt left and Betsy went to bed early because Crystal had to give a speech or something at a church very early in the morning. So there Beth and I were, left by ourselves in an apartment neither of us lived in. That felt a little weird. We ended up watching Anastasia, which happens to be a guilty little pleasure of mine. It was a good movie and I was proven wrong, once again, about something during the movie. Beth knitted an entire blanket during the movie. It was pretty awesome.

After Beth left, I played on the computer for a bit and then went to sleep. During the night, I woke up more than a few times to people screaming. Not like horror movie screams, oh no. These were just the usual screams one hears from partiers.

It was so annoying.

Eventually, I woke up, took a shower, etc., etc. I plan on going to fencing tonight. Other than that, my only plans are to eat lunch and dinner. As you can see, it’s a pretty full day. Partly, that’s my fault because I came down on a weekend when everyone seemed to be busy. Partly, it’s the calendar’s fault because it’s a Sunday and there is never anything to do on a Sunday. Partly, it’s Angie’s fault because she’s not here to entertain me.

Honestly, I guess it’s the fault of nobody. Sometimes days are a little slow. They creep by and leave people a little bored. Things like this just happen.

Mostly though, it’s Angie’s fault.

Well, as bored as you appear to have been, I bet you anything I was worse off. I mean I have nobody really. Kind of like you, but 1.) further away b.) without Wendy’s and iii.) proper toilets.

Seriously. Be glad Beth said the movie was ‘ok.’ Sometimes she doesn’t speak to me at all…

Oh, and as to your most recent poll… I like the Rundown! And I think Beth might too come to think of it. Well, as long as you fastforward through the monkey part… Stupid monkeys
