Shaun Lewis: the Man, the Myth, the Legend

Wow. It’s Sunday.

Finally. Finally, finally, finally I am finished with the new design. Obviously, there are bound to be a few errors here and there. Plus, I haven’t added all the new content that I want. Still, I am finished. Everything should (in theory) work.

Most of the biggest changes are, of course, not right there in the front. There will still be my usual long-winded entries. I’m making an effort to broaden the spectrum of content offered here though. In addition to those rants, you’ll also find posts called “asides.” These are small little blurps of Shaunie goodness. It’s like candy for your mind, man.

Oh, but wait. There’s plenty more.

I’ve always had the cameraphone entries (well… not “always”… since July), but now they’ll be (I think) better looking. Furthermore, I’m adding a new type of entry: the podcast. I’ve started a wonderful new service that will allow everyone to hear my wonderful voice. Please note: key to decipher my garbled speech will not be available until later. Eventually, I’ll set up a separate feed so that you can download and listen to everything in iTunes (or whatever you use to aggregate your syndicated feeds). All you’ll have to do is drag and drop my feed into iTunes 4.9 or greater. Naturally, if you don’t want to do that, you’ll be able to just download the file directly to your computer by clicking the download button located in the post.

It all sounds kind of complicated, but it’s really not. I’m explaining it too much.

As of right now, the plan is to offer my auditory insights into things much in the same way this journal does. Also, I’ll try to interview people. I’m not exactly a “journalist,” but hey… can’t be too hard, right? The first episode will be coming pretty soon, so keep your eyes and ears open for it.

A long-standing problem with this journal is that I never added any extras. I always said I would, but I just never did. Well, for the first time ever, there is AN extra. I don’t exactly have a plural amount of them yet, but I’m going to get there eventually.

If there is anything you think I could/should add, let me know. Also, if there is anything else you think I could/should change, let me know too. Of course, if something isn’t working right, let me know about that as well. Really, just let me know about everything. I like knowing.

For the record, this whole redesign thing was kind of a way to reinvent whomever it was that I happened to be. After the end of this summer, I kind of wanted to start anew. I’m glad to see everything finally reach the point I had in mind. I’m terribly excited about everything. I hope everyone enjoys what I’ve tried to give them too.

Those are the biggest and new things I could think of at the moment though. There are, of course, hundreds of other little things. To see them in action, you’ll just have to do a little bit of exploring. Everything is still pretty much the same though.

Oh, but I’ll update more frequently. Hopefully even more than once in a day sometimes. It could happen^[1] .
