It’s Sunday.

I am currently sitting in the living room of Betsy, Angie and Crystal. Angie is not here because, in addition to other reasons, she sucks. Actually, she’s at a wedding. Still, that’s no excuse. Betsy and Crystal are here though. Betsy is typing away on her laptop she bought from her brother while I type away on the laptop I got from my sister. Crystal is around, most likely studying in her room while marveling at her new curtains I helped put up.

That’s right. I’m a handyman!

It’s Tuesday?

I just woke up. Yes, I realize it’s a bit late, but I went to bed a early — this morning, that is. At 8 o’ clock, in fact; it’s 3:30 now. So, if you’re any good at math, you’ll notice I didn’t even get 8 hours worth of sleep, the international standard amount of sleep. In case you were wondering, I was at Wal-Mart all night installing AXPs (wireless routers) 30 feet above the ground. Actually, point of order, James was installing the routers; I was busy pulling all the cable to them.

If you work at Wal-Mart, thank the person who installed your AXPs the next time you use your handheld.

So, it’s Wednesday night.

I have been meaning to update, but I really just haven’t felt like it. I feel bad because I haven’t been updating as much as I should be. I chalk this up to the horrible feeling I get everytime I look at my design and realize I still haven’t fixed it. Working on the computer isn’t my idea of a fun time right now. I’m sure that will change eventually (I’ll get tired of whatever it is I’m doing now).

Yep, it’s Monday yet again.

I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night, so I’m pretty tired today. “Not a lot of sleep” should be clarified; I’m talking about what I consider not a lot of sleep. I slept for a total of 6 hours–I’m not sure if that is below average for most people or not. For me that’s a hideously low amount, but for Jacki, that would probably not be enough to facilitate any sort of auditory or verbal response.

Jacki likes to sleep.

It’s Monday.

Unfortunately, that means it’s time to start classes again after a weekend break. I was really good today and actually went to my 8 o’clock. I hadn’t been for quite a while; it’s probably a bad sign when the professor asks whether or not you’re enrolled in the class when you attend. I really am not doing bad in that class though. Kind of funny, I guess.

I think this is the part where I tell everyone about my weekend. There wasn’t too much going on Friday, so I’m going to skip directly to the mother of all Saturdays–Halloween at OU. (Saturday is the day of the big street party).

So, it’s been awhile since I’ve updated something (other than a wonderful introductory message, which can be found below); I think I should write a little story about my weekend. This tale, like all my others, is a tale of woe and romance. It is one of excitment and adventure. Maybe even kittens.

OK, so there are no kittens in this tale, but it’s still pretty good.

This epic begins in the humble little town of Athens, OH. For those of you who don’t know, Athens is where most of my stories begin–probably because I live there when I’m in school. But, back to the story. It was Friday, oh yes, but not an ordinary Friday. This Friday, I was embarking on a journey to the farthest reaches of the top of my map of Ohio; Akron (give or take a few miles) was my destination.
