Well, it’s Thursday.

I just got back from my photography class and I have to say that I’ve had a productive day. I developed 2 rolls of film (albeit poorly) and finished 2 prints, which means that I’ve completed one assignment. This is actually the first assignment I’ve completed. Really, I should be finished with most of them, but I just haven’t been able to get good enough prints. Perhaps it’s because I’m picky?

It’s very late Tuesday night.

Well, classes back at the ole Sinclair have been… “interesting” (to say the least). I truly must have been high when I scheduled my classes because I was downtown for 10 hours today. What in the bloody hell was I thinking? Luckily, the majority of those hours were in classes that I found at least somewhat interesting. The most interesting one is my photography class (I finally bit the bullet and decided to take one) on Tuesday. After that would probably be my film class. The only problem with my film class is that the professor seems very sad and pathetic (quite common among film classes, actually, but still…); he likes to spend a lot of time talking less and less about the subject and more about how great he is. Kind of ironic if you think about it because his reputation is what I would call “pumped up.” Still, he is OK in my book because he doesn’t believe in tests or quizzes.

Just Winging It

Jeez, it’s been a long time since I last wrote an entry.

If it’s any consolation, it’s because I’ve been very, very, very busy. Ironically, it is when school is starting that I get my free time. Speaking of school, I’m taking two quarters off from OU because I am poor. But, I am still attending class somewhere else—the local community college. I’m anxious to experience the difference between OU and the wonderful Sinclair Community College. I have attended Sinclair before (back in the day when I was taking college classes in high school) and I must say that it is ghetto fabulous. Still, like I mentioned, that was a long time ago and my world view is much different now than it was when I was in high school. Keeping that in mind, I’m sure I’ll be in for a nice little shock @ first. On that note, because of my attending another college, I had to leave OU today.

Well, I just finished my History exam and it was fantastic. By “fantastic” I mean “hell.”

Actually, it wasn’t as bad as I originally thought it was going to be. However, I didn’t end up studying like I wanted to, so it was pretty rough. The IDs were the part that probably killed me. My essay, which was supposed to be the hardest part, was relatively easy. We had the option of bringing in an outline for one of the essays, but I didn’t do that. I winged this one, as I wing a lot of my essays. Luckily, being a history major has given me a lot of experience in writing, writing and more writing. So, I am confident I did well even though I was the second to last person to leave.

Man, it’s already Thursday (Friday technically).

It’s hard to believe that it’s already so late in the week. The time has certainly flown by, and I’m not even ready to leave this grand ole place I call Ohio University yet. I will miss the school when I’m gone because while I’m at home, I will be working quite a bit. My solace is found in what I’m working towards. My goal is this. In case you are too busy (or perhaps snobbish–how dare you, sir) to follow that link, I will tell you what it is; it’s a Nikon D70 Digital SLR.

It’s Friday.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I made it through the week. Somehow I forged against the mounting odds and managed to complete all the projects and studying that was required of me. Not only that, but I did so with relative ease and very few mental breakdowns. I also just got off work at the Archives and Special Collections in the wonderful Alden Library, so I am now totally finished. I have an entire weekend to bask in the joys of doing nothing.

Now for the usual recap of my week…

It’s Monday.

Unfortunately, that means it’s time to start classes again after a weekend break. I was really good today and actually went to my 8 o’clock. I hadn’t been for quite a while; it’s probably a bad sign when the professor asks whether or not you’re enrolled in the class when you attend. I really am not doing bad in that class though. Kind of funny, I guess.

I think this is the part where I tell everyone about my weekend. There wasn’t too much going on Friday, so I’m going to skip directly to the mother of all Saturdays–Halloween at OU. (Saturday is the day of the big street party).
